RockRide

The 2010 Festival was launched in 2005 by the then PGM R.W Bro Lord Burnham and again Grand Union was very supportive of that Festival. Tony Cersell, Frank Mills and Colin Hennell organised a multi charity Bike Ride, RockRide, from Gibraltar to Buckingham. A team of nine riders and six supporters travelled over a fourteen-day period and a total of £75,000 was raised for the participating charities of which £27,000 went to the Festival.

Following the success of RockRide, we were able to provide Retina recognition software to Jason Felce, a student suffering with Cerebral Palsy who attended the PACE Centre Aylesbury. Jason, pictured with his Mother Lorna, is wearing the collar of the Provincial Grand Master RW Bro. Ray Reed.
